A Free Boudoir Planning Kit: What to Wear and What to Expect

What should I wear? Do I need to practise posing? What happens to the photographs afterwards? I put together a free planning guide to give people considering a boudoir shoot somewhere to start with those questions.

Start with the questions you have

The current resource is the free 16-page Boudoir Planning Kit. It is written for the person being photographed, including first-timers who are still exploring the idea of a session.

The cover below is from the original 2024 edition. Use the link above for the current Photique Planning Kit.

What the Kit covers

The Kit brings together wardrobe guidance, a preparation timeline and a packing checklist. It also explains guided posing, privacy and the steps from planning a session to choosing the photographs.

You can use it to make a list of outfits and questions to discuss with your photographer. Reading it is preparation for that conversation; you do not need to arrive with every choice already made.

The contents preview below also comes from the 2024 edition.

Read it before deciding to book

The Kit is free, with no purchase or booking required. Request it through the form on the guide page and it will be sent by email. The signup also covers occasional planning emails from Photique, with an option to unsubscribe.

This is the client Planning Kit, separate from the paid posing guide for photographers in my shop.

Take the next step when you are ready

Get the free Boudoir Planning Kit to read at your own pace. If you want to see how I work and what is included in a session, explore my Toronto boudoir photography page.

Already have a question the Kit does not answer? Send it to me, and we can discuss your plans.
